Demigod The Game

PALGN ----
The game's audio is no slouch either, with great use of sound effects and voice acting from each respective Demigod. Roars of the Unclean Beast will rattle your room from the resonating bass, and the holy smiting of an Oak’s raised battle axe will pierce your speakers with treble. The sound effects are balanced well, so as to emphasise the power of a Demigod; things feel immense and full of heft, which enhance the experience further coupled with its great visuals. The soundtrack is awesome too, with music dynamically picking up pace if you’re in the midst of a battle, and slowing down into a silent urgency when you’re retreating.

Gamespot ---- "Great music and sound effects."
The colorful visuals and fantastic sound effects merge wonderfully and make the battles between minor deities seem oddly authentic. The pounding of drums, the calls of wood flutes, and even the strum you hear when mousing over the game menus contribute to the atmosphere of polytheistic bloodlust.

Firing Squad: 84 of 100
Audio is well done too and excellent voice acting grants each demigod a unique voice and personality.

GameFocus: 92 out of 100 and an Editor’s Choice ---- "The Audio is well done."
I loathe games which over use music and sound effects to the point where they distract from the games overall experience. Gas Powered Games has done a very good job with the games audio especially with the music and environmental sound effects. All of the voice over work in the game is excellent especially the various one liners and boasts by the various Demigods. It is very impressive to hear a game like this which does not fail in the audio department when it excels everywhere else. As an audiophile this is one game which is a joy to listen to as it does not become boring.

ActionTrip: 80 of 100
Demigod looks good and is well-animated. It has some big flashy effects and really nice audio to boot, both sound effects and music wise.

Gamezone: Sound: 9.2
The music and sound effects will rock your socks off. The explosions and sounds of war are great to hear.
